Playing the Game
High School students are pushed at an early age to pick a career path. At Bowling Green High School, upperclassmen who are not interested in a college path are directed towards the workforce. Through a partnership with ATC, the Area Technology Center, students are prepared for entrance into the workforce in trades such as industrial maintenance and computer programming. BGHS Senior Kendall Pearson is currently taking industrial maintenance classes while finishing up his final season on the football team. Although Pearson feels ready to enter the workforce, he isn’t ready to leave football behind.
